I towed it to a mechanic for diagnosis and then to a Transmission Specialist. I had called Dan Perkins Used Auto Sales department about the issues and they said I bought it "as is" and would try to help find me someone to service the car. I had the car 2 months and had to replace it for $200! Then in February 2022, all lights went on and the car wouldn't run. Realizing buying used is a risk, I thought I'd fix it. Shortly after bringing it home, I found it was not such a good car. The Carfax was good and the salesman from Dan Perkins ensured me was a safe, solid car. When looking for a first car for my son, I trusted Dan Perkins to sell me a reliable used vehicle. I was a first time customer in 1999 and came back to lease a vehicle in 2018 which I am very happy with. It's the worst car buying experience I've had in my life.

Located in Milford, CT / 1,261 miles away from Rutland, ND Not what the American icon Henry Ford would have ever wanted. This practice needs to be looked at, This is unfair and sad. I’m not a millionaire I’m sorry, just an average joe trying to buy a car not get ripped off. This $7500 walked me away from the deal today and quite frankly has left myself and my family so upset. I talked to Ford direct and other dealer that confirmed this should not be happening because Ford agreed not to mark allow dealer up their vehicles. I spent all day, 11:15 to 6.15 trying to buy a Ford Mustang Mach-e and This dealer charges $7500 more on top of msrp.
The dealership on the other hand only cares about there over priced markup cars. The salesman James truly cares about his customer.
